Z Global Group Sales Director
The Z Global Group Sales Director is responsible for securing new clients/business for Z Global’s technological solutions and digital advertising/marketing services within their assigned geographic territory. The Sales Director is also responsible for acquiring new customers for our business training solutions. S/he is provided target list(s) of prospective SMB clients within the territory and Sales Director revenue and activity goals are for 100% new business development. The Sales Director conducts sufficient/significant outbound cold-calling (phone, email, etc.) to introduce Z Global’s services/training solutions, identify the decision-maker, and then secure the appropriate number of in-person meetings to achieve target new business goals. S/he advises customers on how to optimize their revenue through Z Global marketing/advertising in digital and print media. S/he is accountable for analysis, planning and achievement of target outcomes, and adhering to Z Global standards, system use, and upholding the Z Global brand.
- Review and analyze the assigned account list to develop a sales action plan.
- Conduct targeted outreach via email, phone calls, and LinkedIn to establish in-person meetings.
- Prepare for in-person meetings with prospective customers.
- Attend in-person meetings with prospective customers.
- Prepare and present proposal/contracts for Z Global Group’s products, services, and business training solutions.
- Follow up on proposals to secure orders.
- Schedule weekly activities to optimize prospective customer contact.
- Work with Account Managers (AMs) and other Sales Directors to optimize territory penetration and overall Z Global Group performance.
- Staying informed of Z Global products/services/training solutions and SMB marketing trends.
- Understanding how to articulate and sell technology solutions is a core part of this job.
- Attend Performance and Review meetings.
- Meet assigned billed revenue and new client acquisition goals.
- Schedule and attend 5 client meetings per week.
- Close one new account every other week.
- Record and report all activity to General Manager.
- Attend all team meetings and corporate events.
- Represent Z Global Group in a professional manner at all times.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; OR equivalent experience.
2+ years of B2B new business (hunter) sales with the following elements:
- All new business sales goals.
- Experience in a telesales, customer service, help desk, and/or inside sales.
- Has met or exceeded assigned revenue targets.
- Demonstrated history of achieving and exceeding sales targets/goals, or other KPIs.
- Experience working in a target-driven environment with particular focus on customer satisfaction and quality.
- Experience and good working knowledge of the technology/business application industries.
- Able to summarize conversations accurately and unambiguously.
- Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills (comfortable with outbound calling).
- Confident, polite, and friendly, with business acumen, negotiating skills and able to engage with high level decision makers.
- Sales minded, business savvy, and customer oriented.
- Detail oriented.
